If elected, I will focus on:

Sales Tax Renewal

I will support and help pass the tax renewal on the April ballot so we can then build an updated operations building for our city police department that has been long, long overdue.

Housing & Childcare

I will continue the work the city has done to support workforce housing and look harder at support that can be given around expanding the amount and quality of childcare in our area – a topic I dealt with in my long history with our La Plata County and Southern Ute Tribal Boys and Girls Clubs.

Inclusive Recreation

Using my work background in health and recreation, I will ensure the steady progress of Durango Mesa Park over the next four years as a unique opportunity for the city to create an all-encompassing venue for biking, hiking, equestrian, music, and other community activities.
